Easing Through Planetary Transformation

Because of the incredible energies being unleashed, both astrologically and here on Earth, with two quintiles unleashing energies and two eclipses this month, I thought it important to offer some insights to help ease through these transformations.
We had a wonderful drumming at the Jackson Wellness Circle meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Oct. 12. The regular Drum Circle will take place as usual in Lena, Oct. 23. These are to help us raise our personal vibration rates to smooth out some of the potential bumps, as well as to help usher in planetary transformation through prayer and ceremony.
Today is the partial Solar Eclipse, Oct. 13/14, and midway between the first majestic astrological quintile of Oct. 1., and the second quintile of Oct. 28, and Total Lunar Eclipse Oct. 27/28; today is also the New Moon - offering the opportunity for you to set your sights as to what you want to manifest in your life until the next one 28 days from now. These powerful energies will help you manifest, if you can keep your vibration rate high.
If not, then expect drama, barriers, confusion, and Spirit forcing you to confront the necessary changes/choices you need to make in order to stay oriented in your life path (or within striking distance of it).
The Drum Circle in Lena will occur five days before the second quintile, which is being called Harmonic Concordance II, to prepare those participating for the energies rushing in then.
The next few weeks could be traumatic for many. Whenever energies such as those rushing in are unleashed - coupled with the natural annual cycle of the changing of the seasons, which itself is a powerful energy - change is bound to occur, and rapidly.
The astrological significance was included in the last newsletter; this is intended to help you keep your feet on the path.
Many who are having difficulty are facing the Western Gate of the Medicine Wheel: that is the area often called The Dark Night of the Soul.
It may appear as if all is in darkness, all choices are wrong, or there is no choice; you may feel as if you're bumbling around in the dark, or bumping into insurmountable barriers; there is no direction, no guidance, all may appear as darkness and despair.
Don't give up. The Western Gate is there for a reason; we all walk through the Western Gate, daily, monthly, yearly, sometimes hourly - we just don't notice it because whatever is presented at that time is either of short duration or it's not a major choice/decision point, or it's a lesson we have already learned and so we "breathe" right through it.
The energies being unleashed are forcing many of us to confront major life choices - new barriers or situations or predicaments we have not seen before, or, conversely, we have seen again and again and again and are wondering why we can't seem to get out of this cycle.
But rather than seeing the Western Gate as a point of darkness, it should be seen as an opportunity. Spirit is not condemning us to suffer, but is offering a challenge: find a new way, a different way, a way you would not ordinarily choose, so that you may grow and become the person you have the potential to be.
The Western Gate is forcing us to grow, to learn new ways of seeing and coping, adding "space" to our lives so that new people, places and things, new orientations can rush in.
Remember two things:
1.. the circle always turns; we will not always be facing the Western Gate; it will pass, with time; it may must seem like an eternity;
2) the payoff is huge: what you learn will carry you forward both through the Northern Gate (wisdom), and through the Eastern Gate (newness/surprise/mystery) and into the Southern Gate (healing/vibrancy/abundance) with great ease and acceleration if you successfully negotiate it.
There are three things to remember when facing the Western Gate:
1.. Iktomi, Spider Woman lives there; so we have a choice, we can blame her for the web she has woven for us, or accept that it is actually we who decide how the web of our lives is woven through our daily, even momentary, choices/beliefs/attitudes/actions and we are merely blaming her (our shadow self); and she can reweave the web if we ask her to, and choose to make the changes in beliefs/attitudes/actions;
2.. Crazy Mother lives in the West, and her face is half hideous/half beautiful; sometimes she appears one way, one the other, but each is a false face; they are our delusions and illusions of beauty and ugliness; she only has one face; all things are beautiful and ugly at the same time, depending on the point of view;
3) When all outer choices appear darkest, and there is no choice, it's time to go within; by finding inner light, our Divine Light, as co-creators with the Creator, our path will be immediately illuminated; walk blinding in faith, focused on that inner light, and the way will become clear.
Many of our problems at this time deal with relationships, intimate relationships especially. Change can tear them apart. Or, make them stronger.
You must embrace what you want and release what you don't want. That is your responsibility, not to chain yourself to old habits or patterns of behavior -- and, thereby, not chain yourself to relationships that no longer serve you. You cannot control others, but you can control yourself. And be conscious of your choices, even making mistakes.
As my friend Allison Rae (See her webpage: The Star Center at http://www.thestarcenter.org) relates, we must in this time of change align ourselves first with our higher selves. It may be that our relationships are falling away as we do this. But we must do it for our own salvation, our commitment to ourselves to fulfil our greatest destiny.
"As we align, we raise our frequency. As we raise our frequency, we notice old relationships falling away with others who do not share our values, our ideals, our commitment to spiritual growth. We release and grieve the loss," she says. "This creates an opening for new partners to enter our lives."
So, too, new people are entering our lives that may also pose challenges. They are appearing - rapidly! - so that we may learn from them and them from us exactly what we need to learn at precisely this time.

This past weekend, some people came to Lena in search of light, and we went to the Bear Lodge. Before going, I showed them a tape by Gregg Braden: "Walking Between The Worlds: The Science of Compassion," based on his book of the same name, but the video focuses on one part of the book: the Essene Mirrors.
The Essenes were a sect of Judaism at the time of Christ; it's believed Jesus either was an Essene or had extensive contact with them.
But Braden doesn't go into that. Rather, he begins by reaffirming some points that may be old hat to some, new to others: that our times now are the times that ancient peoples describe in all the sacred writings, from every people on Earth.
The rising base resonance of the Earth, coupled with the dropping magnetics of the poles is aiming toward a "zero point" where it will be possible for the Earth to shift poles and for our species to shift with it, which can be done consciously in only two ways: resurrection or ascension.
Christ, says Braden, is a "reference being," who implanted in the consciousness of humankind that life after death is not only possible, but reality. It is the birthright of every human being and our life here on this planet, in this dimension, is really a physical "school" for each of us to evolve, by giving us situations in which we learn and grow and, thus, rise in consciousness for the next world, the next dimension: the 4th dimension.
To aid us in our journey in this dimension, this extremely "thick" third dimension of substance, the Essenes give us seven "mirrors" of ourselves:
1) What we are in the moment (joy? anger?);
2) That which you judge in the moment;
3) That which is lost, given or taken away;
4) How we see ourselves through addiction/compulsion, the very things we hold most dear in life (and often black out in denial or reject as part of our "shadow" selves, projecting traits we abhor in ourselves on others);
5) The mirror our parents showed to us.
6) The dark night of the soul (the "tests" we give ourselves to show our mastery, though we may believe these "tests" are outside ourselves, seen through polarity as "bad");
7) The perfect mirror.
It is important to recognize that ALL OF OUR RELATIONSHIPS ARE MIRRORS OF OURSELVES. How we deal with our relationships now determine how we will evolve and are evolving.
Our dreams, our shamanic journeys, our meditations, our moments of insight (satori), are keys in the present to unlock the future. But we must make our dreams flesh in the world today, we must bring vision into expression on this plane to guide us -- and we do that through our relationships, through the sacred circles of those we meet and know and love and find ourselves sharing this planet and our lives.
We must shift our awareness now. We must use all the resources at our disposal (our vibrational medicine techniques, our drumming, our meditations, our discernment) to find, heal and cause evolution in our selves, our soul/spirit.
These connections, this synthesis, will guide us into the future.
I might add, it's not a bad time to be proactive in your inner work: getting a soul retrieval so your lost pieces are returned, having a power animal retrieval, getting a Reiki reattunement, or pursuing further study/attunement - whatever resonates with you to help you along your path (and I say this not to pump up my own work, but with whoever you feel comfortable with as a teacher, and/or is locally available).
The energy shifts going on now are accelerations of the past energy shifts; especially since last Spring with the Sky Paths of the Holy Ones opening; the Divine Feminine rushing in with the Venus Transit during Summer; building on the Harmonic Concordance of last November, now with Harmonic Concordance II this month coinciding with the eclipses.
We may have a few breaks in between, but more is coming down the pike, leading up to the Winter Solstice Dec. 21.
Before then, we have a huge leap in consciousness in store.
According to my friend Ian Xel Lungold (www.mayanmajix.com - see article below), who translated the Mayan Calendar, our world is shifting rapidly as these Earth changes take place. We are currently in the Third Night of an ever-increasing spiral of days, totaling seven, until End Times in 2012 (or 2011, according to Lungold).
Fourth Day begins Dec. 4, 2004 and Fourth Night, Nov. 28, 2005.
When the Fourth Day begins, expect another huge leap in consciousness.
That's what these energetic changes are preparing us for.
Time seems to be speeding up. But that's not so, he says.
It may seem so, Lungold says, but in actuality, time is not speeding up, Creation is. More and more is occurring in every available moment.
This has two effects:
1) The more that happens every moment, the more is possible to occur;
2) The more that happens every moment, the less the mind is able to process what is occurring.
The mind just can't keep up. That's what I keep trying to hammer in to my clients: Get out of your head and into your heart!
Thinking is at the speed of reading; you "think" as fast as words form and are processed. But consciousness is at the speed of light.
That's why so many people are divided between giving away their power to outside authority, "leaders," or losing themselves in drugs or narrow-minded dogma (so they won't have to think, because they can't keep up through thinking), or embracing Spirit and taking the leap of faith that it requires.
Across the world today, we are seeing this schism, this conflict between outside authority and inner guidance. It has reached a breaking point. People will either adapt - go to the bright light of Spirit within and be guided without - or crash and burn.
The changing pace of Creation not only demands we be "present," fully aware, but that we be careful where we put our attention; for your consciousness goes where you put your attention.
We must - now, right Now! - begin our personal transition, or transcendence, from a mental existence to a heart-centered existence.
So, what is your choice? How do you wish to proceed? With pain, suffering, barriers, by following old patterns and refusing to adapt to the changes Spirit is presenting? Or to allow these energies streaming in now, right now, to accelerate and propel you forward?
Personally, I would choose the bright light at the Western Gate - inner knowing, taking the leap of faith that guides.
I've had my share of ups and downs, too. Daily life is every bit as much a mystery to me. I've made mistakes and make mistakes. But as I was contemplating this, I ran across this wonderful quote from Guy Finley (http://www.guyfinley.com):
"Our real spiritual development is under invisible laws: To grow, we must learn. To learn, we must teach. To teach we must lead. To lead, we must make mistakes. Making mistakes tills the ground of us, making it receptive to new and higher lessons, and thus the positive spiral completes itself, even as it rises above its original starting point."
We are all teachers. We are all masters. We wouldn't be alive if we had not mastered all the challenges we laid before us through our choices to get us where we are right now.
I am grateful for my mistakes! They prove I'm alive and offer the possibility of ever greater joy to come. Each new challenge is a diploma that a test has been successfully completed.
They are garlands of our success!

You may know that the rise of our collective soul energy began with a powerful alignment of Venus and Earth in June. This represented the energetics of physical, soul and spirit uniting as one. As we each choose to move more deeply into this time of Ascension, we wake up to even more of our higher potential.
Now we appear to be at a crucial maximum point of expansion. We have moved away from knowing the true source on the cycle of our evolutionary movement. Because we have reached the "critical interval," we can move quickly and powerfully forward into an awareness of Source, oneness and unity. For those habitually committed to looking outside the Self for potential fulfillment, this will be a time of deepening chaos and frustration, high-anxiety and pain.
For those who choose to move into their soul awareness in order to to know true Source, this will be a time of more fulfillment and connection to all that is and could be for each of us.
I have read that this is the mid-point for Creatorship. In Christian metaphor, a time when we bridge from the CRUCIFIXION of the old survival reality into the beginning stages of the RESURRECTION of the soul. We have the chance NOW to move from survive mode to thrive!
As many of you know, these shifts and all energy-medicine work, are literally changing the energy that moves through our bodies. We have known the energy of creation based on friction and resistance. Change has been difficult and challenging. Now there is good news! We are preparing ourselves for a much more potent force of creation - a solar electrical force- a radiatory force. This is the energy we experience radiating from the heart chakra of our universe. The light of our Soul, with a body that is prepared, is the solar force now beginning to move through our heart and infinitely out into the world.
Are you still blocking it?
Most of us will need help as we continue to pass through the Crucifixion initiation and our soul begins to direct our actions. We may likely experience many layers of matter surrendering to spirit and the direction of our Soul Plan. Surrender, for most of us, feels like capitulation. Not at all like gain, but rather like deep loss. THIS IS AN ILLUSION. Instead, our lower will--gratification of the outer-directed ego-- becomes disillusioned as it surrenders to the soul's Higher Will.
Through the end of this year, we will continue to experience many more changes and may find ourselves shifting the group of people with whom we spend time. We are likely now more fully attracted to the soul grids of our group souls and may find ourselves involved in projects or activities that appear meaningless or without our greater interest. It may be that the members of our Soul Family will need to come together to inspire us into deeper lessons, opportunities and necessary support.
OCTOBER:
Specifically during this month we will shift more of our focus to NEGOTIATION. We will find ourselves weighing the two sides of all things. This month we will negotiate between our old and new choices. How do I fit the choices of my inner truth into the form and structure of my outer life? What meaning do I bring to my life in these new choices?
We can learn to respond more fully to our life, without a sense of giving up the fragile false sense of self we have known. As we put our new choices into practice, we will learn what works and what does not. By making new choices and putting them into action, we will create many synchronicities that support our new commitments. This will refine our trust in a new inner-directed identity and soul reality.
Our subconscious must be cracked and transformed for it has held us asleep--in a false reality. This month, we will deal more with the practicalities of negotiating with the new. If we have prepared, this will reveal a sense of true purpose rather naturally. As we act from the neutrality of our discovered heart connection, we will find ourselves acting less through opposition. Instead, we desire to come together in ways that serve the good of the whole and ourselves.
Guess what?...
Happily this requires us to erase the ways we still act and affirm our old fears, and the beliefs that underscore them. As we do so, consciously and energetically, we develop a sense of empowerment with our new choices. As we do so we can literally break open the heart chakra - and our symptoms of shift will move more into the upper body.
Are you feeling activity in the mid-back of the heart chakra, as well energy along your spine? It could even feel uncomfortable or as if you have pulled muscle. This particular energy movement is actually freeing up our will centers which are connected along the back of each of our chakras. For me, I just thought it was "early hot flashes" and learned instead these are power boosters assisting me in the energy work I provide my clients.
As we LET GO this month, we refine ourselves and prepare for a higher mission in our world - to be revealed as the vortex opens in this initiation during the final days of October. Paradoxically, we may also find a great deal of dissatisfaction in our world. Perhaps we will be tempted to make accusations, damn this and that, and "scapegoat" because the shift of energies will cause our ego to go to any old control dramas it can, rather than to allow the present circumstances to reveal whatever is needed.

Being In Your Majix

I know that all of you have been going through many changes, the same as I have. Everyone I meet is going through many changes in consciousness, whether precipitated by new information coming to light in their lives or by circumstantial changes they perceive as being out of their control.
There have been so many new openings in the understanding of the nature of our current reality that I have actually started giving a whole new talk called "The Evolution Continues."
I guess I have coined a new word. Majix.
Magic is the inexplicable manifestation of an intention.
Majix is the understood relationship between Attention, Intention, Integrity and Intuition that manifests whatever will forward the evolution of consciousness in oneself and for others, with or without any linear or logical progression.
These four pillars, Attention, Intention, Integrity and Intuition are the foundations of walking Majix in your life.
Attention
In the first place, a person must "show up" in the moment in order for Majix to happen. You must be paying attention to be conscious of the elements of creation that exist in your present moment. It is with all that is actually available in the present that you will be manifesting your future. Paying attention is not that easy to do all the time.
Sometimes it takes great courage to continue to pay attention when something looks threatening or approaches a level of pain at which you are extremely uncomfortable.
Sometimes it takes great courage to face the overwhelming admiration that you are receiving, or the overwhelming respect and love you are feeling for another.
It can be just as uncomfortable to turn away from bliss as from pain. The point is that when overwhelmed, a person stops paying attention to the moment; he or she becomes unable to intend anything clearly.
Your future at that moment becomes a muddle of cause and effect, with you at the effect end of what ever causes were running in your life when you stopped paying attention rather than continuing to consciously create your next moment.
Intention
Intention is the exercise of your will projected into physical creation. It is the focus of your attention's (or consciousness's) projection of what is conceived as possible into your reality.
The position of your viewpoint is established by paying Attention to the time and place in which you exist. This activity sets up a base from which to project an intention into creation. The more fully established in the present your viewpoint is, the more effectively the intention can be projected.
Integrity
Integrity is the key to walking Majix into your next moment. Integrity is wholeness. In order to be fully present in the moment, in other words, to be effectively paying attention to what is in the moment, your integrity must be intact. If your personal integrity is out of whack, then to whatever degree it is corrupted, your mind will step in with all the reasons you are not in your integrity. Now you are paying attention to the reasons (excuses) and not the present moment.
Yes, this does include all the reasons you go to a job you dislike every morning, all the reasons you continue to remain in a dead or dysfunctional relationship.
All your experience is the whole(ness) of your existence, whether painful or blissful. Any attempt to deny any part of that experience by not paying attention puts you, to a degree, out of integrity. The more you are willing to accept your experience for what it is (just that, an experience) without judging it, the more it is possible to stay paying attention to the moment in every circumstance.
Standing in integrity and paying attention to the moment with an intention becomes your power, because this is how you hold open the gateway to your intuition.
Intuition
Your intuition is the source of all your knowing. It is the Ah Ha! center of your consciousness.
All that can be known enters your consciousness by way of your intuition, and, as it does, it makes sense to your mind (if you let it) and then infiltrates your thinking patterns. I have watched this happen in myself many times.
Your intuition is the staging platform for your future.
We generally conceive of an intuition as a hunch that seems to let us know what is going to occur in the future. What if the actual situation is this: in your intuition, that is, while paying attention and centered in the present moment, you are actually creating your future? That would handily explain why you were more or less right about what was going to happen wouldn't it?
Are we creators or not? When are we best able to effectively create in tune with the rest of creation? When we are in our intuition, that's when.
As we move forward into more rapid and extreme change, more people are going to be asking what in the *%#*^% is going on and how do I survive it?
The answer, no matter what your situation, is to create your own reality and thus increase the possibility of survival through your intuition.
These lessons will be taught by the many natural and civic disasters that are now beginning to take place in America and across Europe.
Notice how many people survive the devastation of whole towns? Ever listen to the stories of how these people made it through naturally occurring violent circumstances? How about combat experience?
By way of their Intuition, my friends, that's how. They just knew what to do in those moments. Thinking was put off for a little while. These people were busy surviving. The mind does move back in later with judgments (that was close; I nearly bought the farm) and a registering of the loss of physical possessions, but intuition is what got them through the worst of the situation. So the lessons shall be sown and shown.
No one can do this evolution for you and you cannot do this for anyone else. Not for your wife/husband or girl- boyfriend, not for your six-month-old baby, not for your grandfather or your mother. We are all in this together, but each of us is responsible for our own consciousness. There are no victims in creation. There are only creators in creation, some of whom make themselves into victims for their own reasons. The main reason is that they consider themselves locked out of their integrity. Yes, there are a whole lot of those people in this world.
Anyone, at any time, can come up to full integrity by forgiving themselves. The most direct way to do this is by climbing into the present moment and holding on to it with all your might. There is no past in the present moment so there is nothing to forgive. All that there is in the present moment is the potential for new creation, and that in itself is integrity clean and clear. Not to say that this is the simplest method, just the most direct. The mind will do its utmost to drag you into the past or spit you into a future loaded with threats if you let it. This method may be simple but it's not easy.
Another, not quite so direct, method is to consider that all of your experiences are just that, experiences. Whatever has happened to you, whatever you think you have been involved in was only something you witnessed. Anything that you can witness is manifestly not you, is it? So start asking this question. "What am I not?" Next time you get worried or angry try to remember to ask yourself "what am I not?" and watch what happens to your emotional state.
This includes all the dubious decisions you created throughout all your lifetimes. You are not, and have never been, any of those decisions or actions. This is the abolition or balancing of Karma, and it is scheduled for right now, world-wide. Either you pay for the baggage (karma) with your suffering, created by you and only you, or you drop the baggage.
Are you ready to drop the baggage?
